I have reset my password several times in hope to solve the problem; however, each time I try to login I receive a message stating that my password is invalid.  Please help!

I assume that you are referring to the Web Console and that you have tried to Reset Your Password using web page feature for that?  If not then please try that otherwise post back and we will see how best to help you further.

When I click the Webroot icon on my computer it shows what is installed, and what can be added.  I upgraded to the complete so I can add the backup and snyc.  When I click on the icon inthe  box and try to log in to set it up, it states that my log in is invalid.

Just to be absolutely clear...you are trying to access the Backup & Sync feature from the 'Backup & Sync' tab in the main UI of WSAC, or have you clicked on the cog/gear symbol to the right of the 'Backup & Sync' title so that you are now in the advanced options for this feature?

 

I am having a little trouble situating exactly where you are try to access what from.  Also, have you set up your Web Console and if so have you enabled the Backup & Sync features in there?  If not then you need to do that first before you try to access the features from WSAC on your PC.

 

Let us know where you are in that process.

I do not know what you mean by main UI or WSAC or cog/gear.  I am referring to the icon on my home computer that pulls up Webroot so I can scan my computer.  I would send you a screenshot, but I am not certain how to attach it -- I tried using Word but  it will not work.  

 

Back to the icon -- when I click the icon a box appears that give the options to scan, look at what I have with the Webroot program, and it gives me the ability to look at each option to learn more and to purchase or upgrade.  I upgraded so I can add the backup and snyc.  Now, that I have upgraded it needs to be set up.  When I try it tells me my password is not valid.  the instructions are on the Webroot web site and I have followed them without success.

Apologies for confusing you...that was not my intent.  When I refer to main UI I mean the main Webroot SecureAnywhre program that should appear when you left double click the desktop icon.

 

Please go to the following How to use Backup & Sync link and view the video tutorial related to how to use Back Up & Sync...if you follow those steps you should be able to start using the feature but if you have trouble please not what elements shown in the video tutorial are not working, and then post back.

The login function is not working.

OK, have you set up your online Webroot account?  If not then please see this tutorial How to setup your online Webroot account and get that set up first before retrying to login to Backup & Sync from the app on your PC.

 

Again, if you have set up the account already check to see if you can log into it via the web browser using this link Access Web Console and post back how you get on.

Sometimes issues are like that...I am really glad to hear that the issue is sorted out for you. :D
