I have 29 days left on my current subscription.
Do I have to wait until my current subscription expires to utilize a new key code that I bought or will my current subscription be extended the 29 days?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
The answer is 'No' but the result will depend on whether you have a Best Buy subscription or a Webroot one (online or store purchased). If Best Buy then you can contact them to renew your subcription but your card will not be debited until your current license expires and therefore you will not see the renewed subscription appear until up to 24 hours after your current subscription expires/the new is billed and applied (but don't worry...you are covered/prptected duringt hat period).
If other than Best Buy then as soon as you renew you will be debited and will see the renewal no. of days added to you remaining current subscription, i.e., if you renew now then you will see 365 +29 = 394 days of subscription remaining (when you look at the number next to 'Subscription' on the main WSA panel.

Do you want to use a new keycode or the current one and renew? The reason I ask if you want to use a new keycode and not from Best Buy Geek Squad you should contact Webroot Support and get them to add the time from your new keycode on to your current one then you will not have any issues with Back Up & Sync and Password Manager. But if you just enter a new keycode all data will be lost. Do you understand what I am saying?
