I share a home computer with my husband. I can't get Webroot to work on his side. Why?

May I ask if this is a Mac PC since Webroot is trying to install on Safari?
 
If you use FF then change your settings,
Click the menu button and choose Options.Preferences. Select the Advanced panel, click the General tab, and then click Check Now. Select Yes to set Firefox as your default browser.

We use a Mac and Firefox is set as my default browser. I can't get Webroot installed on Firefox, it just closes it down and starts to install on Safari, which we don't use.

So sorry you are having this issue.
 
My advice would be to uninstall and reinstall WSAC. But if you are not familiar in doing this then please issue a Support Ticket free of charge with an active subscription. The Support Team will gladly get to the bottom of this for you.
 
If you want directions on how to uninstall/clean install of Webroot. I would glady post these instructions.
