I had Kaspersky and felt safe when coing online banking, since it opened a window in safe mode.  Does Web root have this extra protection?

There isn't any additional protection for online banking because Webroot provides complete security everywhere on the web.
Read this recent report by MRG Effitas on online banking security and you will see that WSA was one of only two general AVs that passed all their tests (there were also two dedicated anti-financial fraud products).

I hope this will give you the confidence to feel secure when banking online with WSA.

Hi,
There are other methods of protection that you can use if you feel that it is necessary.

I know of many banks that recommend Trusteer Rapport.  I have used it and it does work, but be prepared for frequent updates. They update whenever the major browser players have major upgrades.

Here is one Banking EDIT: <link/url snipped as it contravenes Community Guidelines>; Baldrick or you can visit their site .

I have not tried it in parallel with Webroot but it should work.
