I kept getting a pop up window that said Microsoft windows needs to run a window outside the windows secure zone. It looked just like the dark yellow/ gold microsoft window so after trying to ignor it many times and clicking on dont show again it kept coming. So like a dummy I figured just allow it and it wouldnt come up any more. Well now as soon as I open IE (explorer) It just goes crazy opening windows all over the screen and doesnt stop until it locks up or I restart or shut it down by ctl-alt-del and go to the red button down in the right corner and choose one.

So has any one seen this? Know how to get rid of it?

I've run my Avast, Malwarebits, the systems security and CCleaner, none of them find anything. Tried to delete IE to reinstall it but the system will not allow me to delete it.

Help please...
Hi 1badcj8

Welcome to the Community Forums.

What I would do in the circumstances is open the Internet Options Control Panel applet (you can access it by typing Internet Options in the Start Menu search field and then clicking on the appropriate option in the list returned.

Once that is open I would click on the 'Security' tab and then click on the 'Reset all zones to default levels' and hopefully that will undo what you did when you allowed the change to be made via the popup.

Give that a try and then post back to let us know what the outcome is.

Thank you for the welcome and the response, very appreciated.

Unfortunatly that didnt do anything 😞. Still when I open IE it goes nuts and opens endless pages/windows...
Hi 1badcj8

Well, in that case I would (i) avoid using IE for the moment...try using another browser such as Chrome and/or Firefox as a temporary measure, & (ii) I would Open a Support Ticket so that the Support Team can investigate the issue for you and if necessary clean anything that is on your system and possibly causing this issue.

I have been researching your symptoms and as yet cannot find anything that resembles what you are describing but if I do come across something I will post back here what I have found in case it is of any use...but in the meantime open that Support Ticket to get the Professionals involved. ;)
