We've had WSA for over a year now and so far it has been just OK. It let something get thru and fry my hard drive which had to be replaced under warranty (but still lost a lot of data). My problem is that both my wife and I get this annoying popup from WSA: " Another Webroot System Optimization is already in progress and will be finished shortly."
Sometimes there will be several of these popup boxes on her desktop at once while she has been online or playing an offline computer game. It is there anytime I have been online for more than just a few minutes. It is just plain annoying and makes me wonder if there is something going on with Webroot.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
GOD bless you.

DO you have optimization set to run on a schedule?
Open your console, click on the gear next to advanced settings
See If the option to enable is checked

Hi BikerBro
Welcome to the Community Forums...:)
As Beth has already suggested please check the Scheduler Settings for the System Optimizer (you will find them under the Scheduler tab in Advanced Settings...top right of the main app panel, and then taking the System Optimizer tab, etc.). The reason I suggest this is that it is possible to schedule multiple days in a week for the Optimizer, as i am sure you know, and I have managed on occasion, when changing settings, to set two days rather than change one.
If that does not lead you to the cause then I would recommend that you uninstall WSA, download a fresh copy of the installer (is a Best Buy purchase then from here), reboot, clean install WSA (makings sure that you do not accept to reuse previous settings if so offered by the installer), and when installed reboot before you do anything else.
Once that is done set the schedule for the System Optimizer as you want it and then check to see if the issue reoccurs. If it does then I would Open a Support Ticket and let the Support team take a look at the circumstances, etc.
Do post back to let us know how you get on re. the above.
Regards
Baldrick

I assume you are using the Complete version or the Gamer version?
Thanks,
Daniel 😉
Thanks,

It was set but I reset everything on both laptops and we are waiting to see if things change. So far so good! Don't know what it was, maybe just refreshing the settings? But thank you!
