Hi have just got a new computer and have managed to get the Pass Show browser add on in Explorer , have done a couple of scans which have shown nothing.

Hi roadhog
Pass Show is listed as a PUA (Potentially Unwanted Application) and will most likely have been installed on your system as part of a recent install of another app that it came bundled with. You show go to the Settings in IE (click on cog in top right hand corner of browser) and click on Manage Add Ons, and in the panel display find and disable the Pass Show add-on. Then go to the Add/Remove Programs option in the Control Panel and uninstall the Pass Show program.
For more detailed and step by step instructions please take a look at this KB Article that should hopefully fill in any blanks or questions re. the above.
Finally, should you find that you are still left with any remnants of Pass Show (there have been reports that in some cases the double underlining remains after uninstallation has taken place) then please Submit a Support Ticket so that the Support Team can deal with any last vestiges of the annoyance.

To add to what Baldrick has said, here is a link with some additional information. WSA will sometimes detect and remove PUA's, but not in all situations. While PUA's are very annoying doing things like popping up- ads, they are not really harming your computer or stealing information. The more difficult a PUA is to remove, the more likely it is to be listed by WSA for detection and removal.

No problem...;) we are always happy to try to assist fellow Community members if we can/when we can. As it happens I am in the UK, and about to 'clock off' for the night, whilst David is located in the US. There are a number of Community members spread in that way so between us we can manage, as volunteers, to be around most of the time to try to help out.
Hope what we have provided assists you? If not, or if you have further questions, please post back and we will try to assist further. :D

Baldrick
