Why all of a sudden does scheduler for SCAN and OPTIMIZER not work?
Hi ssd

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Would you please give us a bit more information as to in what way they don't work'? Do they start but freeze? Do you click the appropriate button and nothing happens? We need a little more to go on to be able to help.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Regards, Baldrick
I schedule normally. It used to work. Now nothing happens,I must do manually. It act like its not on schedule.
Hi ssd

OK, have you tried rebooting to see if this is just a temporary glitch?  If not please do so and if that does not clear the issue for you then I would recommend that you undertake a clean reinstall of WSA, as follows:

  • Make sure you have a copy of your Keycode
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that solves the issue for you.

I agree with Baldrick, but this thread might be worth a read also: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Complete/scheduled-scan/m-p/9546#M804

Ordinarily I would agree with you, Dermot, but in this case the Scheduler has been in use previously, and seems to have stopped working. :(

Indeed Baldrick, and a clean install is recommended in link (in option given in Support reply) I gave also. I suppose I was trying to draw attention to the Admin rights mostly.

Don't be sad...there is a consensus really Mon Ami ;) I guess I wan't too clear.
