Webroot Secure Anywere Complete says this has a virus or is malware.
I'd like to know if this is really true and where I got it.

SearchProtect is an application distributed by Conduit and which may change your browser search settings.
 
We have received numerous complaints regarding this application and as such have given the program the designation of PUA (Potentially Unwanted Application).  You can read more about SearchProtect by Conduit by searching the program name within Google: https://www.google.com/search?safe=off&site=&source=hp&ei=drlgUp-OIqbgyQGn3oDACg&q=searchprotect&oq=&gs_l=mobile-gws-hp.1.0.41l3.0.0.0.2765.1.0.0.1.1.0.0.0..0.0....0...1c..29.mobile-gws-hp..0.1.47.lnQMFxs4O3E
 
If you wish to keep the SearchProtect application, you can deselect the detections within SecureAnywhere to have the program create overrides.
