I am installing my WebRoot Personal Security onto my new HP all-in-one pc with Windows 8. It is telling me that Spy Sweeper is incompatible. Is there an update that I can download to resolve this? Or do I need to purchase a new WebRoot product to be compatible Windows 8?

Indeed, SpySweeper is legacy software from Webroot and has in fact not been develoed for some time. The replacement, and indeed massive improvement on SpySweeper, as it does so much more on to of what that product oes, is Webroot SecureAnywhre of which there are 3 versions. Please take a look at this link for a comparison between the version and their key features, and this link to help one choose between versions.
