Good evening all,
I just purchased a Surface 3 (not to be confused w/ Surface Pro 3) tablet/2-in-1 and am looking for experiential information regarding the compatabilty of Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete with this platform. I had used another virus protection vendor for years (and was quite happy with them) BUT they evidently do NOT support the Surface 3 platform (eventhough it, AFAIK, runs a full fledged Windows 8.1). Please advise. 🙂

Hello @ ,
Welcome to the Webroot Community,
If your Surface Tablet is running Windows then to my knowledge you can run WSAC. You can try the free version of WSAC if you want to try it, But I don't think there would be a compatibility issue here that I am aware of with Win. 8.1.
Maybe@ has information on this?
Hope this helps,
Kind Regards,

Hello @ and Welcome to the Webroot Community!
Surface 3 doesn't have an RT version anymore and has a full version of Windows 8.1 with an Intel Atom processor and not the ARM processor but Surface still comes as a Pro version as well with and Intel i5 or i7 processor and Windows 8.1 Pro please see here http://www.engadget.com/2015/03/31/microsoft-surface-3/ and Here http://www.engadget.com/2014/05/23/surface-pro-3-review/ so you're good to go with any of the WSA products that you would like: http://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/ I'm so happy they done away with the RT ARM processor version of the surface product, also you will get the free upgrade to Windows 10 when it's released at the end of the month!
Thanks,
Daniel ;)
