Hello
I have registered to lodge a complaint.
I do not click popups EVER.

EVER EVER EVER!
Popups contain viruses..

Now your program has a popup.
It is appearing every time I turn on my computer.
It does not go away when I go to the webroot program and open it to click the useless link with USELESS information upon it.
It remains Permanently. in the corner of my computer screen. The only way to remove this popup is to click it. Which I am NOT GOING TO DO!

I am angry.
You have finally done the one thing that has lost me as a customer.
I will begin today to shop for other less intrusive anti virus programs.

I should not be hearing from my Anti virus unless there is a problem. I should not have a permanent fixture in the corner of my screen that I am at this time considering a virus..

I am very angry. Thanks for the fish.
I am no longer interested in dealing with your company.

Hi SpiritedTreasure

Sorry hear as to your dissatisfaction with the approach that WSA has adopted to inform user of the availability of their personalised Security Report.

This is a new feature, only recently added, and therefore not quite 'cooked'.  And whilst I would not agree at with you that popups contain viruses (that is a matter of opinion obviously) and for that reason the popup should not be used, it has been suggested that the user should have more granular control over what & how often the Security Report notification is presented, etc. (please see here if interested and you would like to add your comments and/or support the feature request...the Development Team regulalrly review the requests so this would be a way of getting their attention re. this matter). ;)

Currently, the way I have found to stop the popup is to actually read the Security Report.  And you can access this without using the popup; from the main panel of WSA by clicking on the button in the bottom lefthand corner (that is usually labelled 'Learn More' but when the Security Report has been published changes to allow access to it).

I hope by providing the above explanation & 'workaround' I can persuade you to hold fire on ditching WSA and give the fucntionality a chane to 'mature', etc.

Please feel free to come back with any further questions and/or observations you might have re. this.  We are always happy to hear from fellow users.

Have a great weekend. :D

Regards
