I just registered to seek advice on the same issue of the unwanted popup "View your personalized security report" showing up in the bottom right corner of the screen every time I turn on the computer.  I searched for a way to turn it off, but found nothing.  It is irritating enough for me to take the time to ask if anyone knows how to turn it off.  thanks for your post.

From what I have seen, the report will go away once clicked for viewing.  You do not have to take the time to actually read it:it is not like some EULA's that cannot be "agreed to" without scrolling down the entire thing.

Just click, let it load for a few moments and close should suffice.

If this does not work, you may want to submit a Trouble Ticket (link below).

There is not currently a setting to disable it, though it has been suggested in the past.

cheers for reply, already doing that but the thing is I DONT WANT TO SEE IT in the 1st place, something the devs can look at and sort

As I said, it has been discussed in the past... you might want to locate the Idea regarding creating a setting for controllng it, Kudo and comment.  That is the location the devs will look when considering feature tweaks and changes.

On another note, I will kindly ask you to refrain from questionable language (your first post on this topic) and also from 'yelling' (the use of all capital letters). I am not a Webroot emoloyee, most of us aren't.  I am merely a volunteer advising you of the current state od the code and providing a suggestion as to how to deal with the situation in the here and now. (A change that must be made by the devs will take a while at the least to fix.... I merely provided the reality of how to remove it today.)

Cheers.

Hi GANJAMANYEAH

There you go:

https://community.webroot.com/t5/Ideas-Exchange/More-control-of-Personalised-Security-Report/idi-p/90140

You can add your own comments to this Feature Request in the Ideas Exchange (as referred to by David).  As is stated in the Forum "Remember to VOTE for your favorite ideas because we're listening. Not all will be implemented, but the ones will the most votes will definitely get discussed. :)"

So you now have your opportunity to make a difference.

Later the same day after I posted the complaint about this popup it had stopped showing up.  It is like someone from Webroot did something in the background to stop it from showing up when I turn on this computer.  Have not seen it since.

Hi SPDgn

I suspect that this is pure coincidence and I would not read too much into that.  The feature is new and as yet not well understood...and I suspect that chnages will be made to it shortly.

I personally saw one per month for two months and it has now been two since I saw the last one,  Make of that what you will.

Regards

I did have a conversation with one of the folks here about this.  Apparently there are plans to have a setting to just turn this off completely.  In this case though, I agree with @ that it is probably a coincidence.
