Console on my PC is working fine. Console on my netbook shows backup/sync is off. I have learned  that if I log in that corrects problem and turns backup/syn on. However, when I tried to do this on netbook, using same login as I use on PC,my login was not accepted. My question...is a  different password required for each computer's console?

Not fully sure, but it could help to reset the password Webroot SecureAnywhere

As seen in this thread: https:///t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Complete/Trouble-logging-into-the-Web-Console/m-p/17624#M1609

Dermot 7...I thought about doing that except for that fact that my login works on one computer but not the other. I really don't want to reset my password if I don't have to. Appreciate you helping me and your quick response  :O)

Hi Marein

I have just tried the same thing on my tablet (which did not have Backup & Sync enabled whilst my desktop system has) and I managed to activate it from the local WSA Backup & Sync tab login, using the same login as that which I used for the dessktop system; namely the Web Console login.

I am wondering if the problem is to do with Web Console related authorisation...so please log in to your MyAccount/Web Console, from your PC.  And when you get to the Home screen, click on the 'Go to Backup & Sync' button.  Once the new panel opens click on the 'Devices' tab and see if BOTH you computers are listed.

If both are showing then I believe that you need to check the credentials you are typing in for the notebook.  If only the PC is showing then you need set up Backup & Sync on your notebook.

Check this out and post back as to your situation.  Depending on what you find Dermot could well be right and that a reset is your only course of action.

Regards
