I have firefox and I'd like to know how to install a webroot password extension on fire fox?

Hello Mike! Welcome to the Webroot Community.
Usually the extenstion will install automatically, but it might not be enabled. Have you checked your add-ons to see if it is there but disabled?
If so, and it is not there, just run this toolbarfix.exe file. It will install detect IE, Chrome and Firefox and install the extension on all three.
