Hi craigf
Welcome to the Community Forums.
I am not a Mac expert by any stretch of the imaginations but lets see if I can help a little here.
To check which version you have you should be able to (and I am going with this based on the PC version) click on the Utilities tab in the main panel which should expand to give you the following or something similar:
And you should see the Product name displayed there.
In terms of the issue you are having re. the Web Threat Shield I have found this previous thread which may contain some useful information as to resolving the problem...I recommend that you read it through completely before deciding what if anything to do, including the uninstall/reinstall process that is dscribed in the thread.
If nothing therein helps then I would Open a Support Ticket to let the Support Team help you with this issue...the servcie is free for all WSA subscription holder.
And finally I will our resident Mac guru@ to see if she can pick this up and suggest something that may help, from her vast repetoire of Mac-related experience with WSA.
Apologies that I cannot do more. Please do post back to advise us as to how you are progressing with the issue.
Regards, Baldrick

Hi craigf
OK, well then as a Best Buy customer then your best option at present would be to contact The Geek Squad first (link to detail for that here) as they are your first port of call.
The it would be to follow the reamining options in my original response should they not be able to help you.
Again, apologies I cannot help out more.

Welcome to the Community!
Sorry this is a longer process then you want you might want to tackle. Support is a good option, You need these Webfilters in your browser!
I do believe a a uninstall/ reinstall as shown here should fix this issue, but I've never heard of a box popping up saying it could effect the look of Safari. ??
EDIT
Make sure you have your keycode available by Opening up Secure Anywhere and going to My Account and write the 20 digit code out.
This solution addresses Webroot SecureAnywhere for Mac OS X 10.7 and higher
To uninstall Webroot SecureAnywhere, follow the instructions below.
- Shut down SecureAnywhere by clicking the Webroot icon http://sw.nohold.net/Webroot/Images/wsa_icon.png in the menu bar and selecting Shut Down SecureAnywhere.

If prompted, confirm that you want to shut down SecureAnywhere.
- Open the Finder by clicking the Finder icon http://sw.nohold.net/Webroot/Images/mac_finder_icon.png in the dock.
- Open the Applications directory.

- Click and drag the Webroot SecureAnywhere program icon into the Trash http://sw.nohold.net/Webroot/Images/mac_trash_icon.png in the dock.
A confirming window appears. Click Uninstall.

Now you need to go to System Preferences ( located up in the right hand corner by the apple, right click to open refrences,) Open Security & Privacy, below you need to Check the box " Anywhere" (as shown below) Close the Menu and then Install from here SecureAnywhere Mac Installer
Remember to after install to go back to System Prefences and put the Check back in the Mac App Store and identified developers.
If you have any issues then please come back and we can help you further. There is a Check disk option to repair your permissions if you need to. If so I can help you with those instructions too. Just let me know if you have anymore problems.
Can you get back to us and ley us know how things went so that we can help others!
