Webroot stopped working so I tried to reinstall. It keeps getting stuck on the install window and will not go any further. The window says installing but there is no progress. I have 51 days left on my subscription and I have it setup to automatically renew. Now I have no webroot on my computer because it cannot install. It is installed on my sons computer and working fine. What now?
Hello Imkof3, Welcome to the Webroot Community Forum, :D

Please Reboot your computer.

See if Webroot is in the Add / Delete Programs on your Computer Control Panel.

If it's there, Uninstall it. Then follow the steps below:

Please follow the steps below closely in terms of installing WSA on the target system/machine!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online during the install to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE). Let us know if it is the Mac version you need.
  • Install with the new installer, entering your Keycode when prompted to do so in the install process
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot
If Webroot will not install Please submit a Support Ticket or Contact Webroot Support to sort this problem.

EDIT: Please see this KB Article if Webroot is missing from your Control Panel. This is another way to uninstall.
First of all I am on a Mac running 10.7.5 not a PC so there is no Control Panel or Uninstall. I have removed all webroot files and deleted my trash and restarted. I redownloaded webroot and put in the correct keycode (I doubled checked this code twice). I have been running webroot on my computer since 2011 and have upgraded it every year. Not sure why I am having this issue now. I really need to have this up and working. Especially since I will be paying for another year on it soon. I am again stuck on the Intalling SecureAnywhere window with no progress.
Hello Imkof3,

Hi lmkof3,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Sorry you are having issues with Webroot.

May I ask what Mac OS that you have? Is it Maverick or Yosemite? If it is have you checked your Disk Permissions? Sometimes that will hinder Webroot from installing. Let me know what Mac OS you are running and I can give you instructions how to check disk permissions. Also have you checked your Firewall in System Preferences?

Otherwise the best thing to do is contact support as ProTruckDriver has stated.
