where do i find FIRST and FIFTH characters of your Security Code.... i tried the keycode?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
 
Your keycode & Security Code are two seprate things.
 
Your key code will have been set up as part of your setting up your online account via the Webroot Online Console (HERE); it will a 6 character case sensitive code that you were asked to set up on registration.
 
If you have not yet set up your online account then please do so ASAP....you can find instructions/guidance on how to do that in this KB Article.
 
If however, you have already set up your account and have forgotten your Security Code then you can reset this (and your password, if required) by using the first link above to get to the console login page and clicking on the 'Forgotten Password?' link to the right of the 'Login in' button.
 
That will take you to another page on which you can chose which item to reset...just follow the prompt from their.
