I am using webroot secure anywhere, and have two password manager icons on my tool bars, one on the command bar that is green all the time, even when I am not signed in, and another one on the opposite side of page that turns green when I sign in. I have tried to disable each one of them, but when I do, it disables all of webroot.  I have had webroot support enter my computer and try and fix it, but am not to happy with the fix that was applied by webroot support.  The fix they did after trying to reloading toolbar, and other things that I could not keep up with was "the support tech. simply went up to the COMMAND bar, where the icon that stays green all the time is, and slides the the command bar to the right until the webroot icon for password manager is not visible! I was told to just ignore it!   Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you, a very confused user of webroot secure anywhere for many years.
Hello wolfinman, welcome to the Community!

One quick question: I am not sure I understand what you mean by having both the toolbar and a command bar?  By command bar are you referring to the Windows SysTray, that has the clock, volume control, etc?

Have you or Webroot Support done a complete CLEAN install?

Please try this:

  • Make sure you have a copy of your Keycode
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
I am sorry you had a less then perfect experience with Webroot Support.  You CAN request to have an issue escalated to a different support agent for a second opinion or advanced troubleshooting if the clean reinstall does not help.

Please let me know how it goes!
