I have Webroot SecureAnywhere installed on 5 devices. However, one of these devices is a laptop I bought several days ago that does not work very well and I am planning to return it today. If I uninstall Webroot on this device, will I be able to still have one installation left for the new device I am planning to buy?

Thank you.

What does it mean by using an Admin login? When I log in, it just shows me the Home screen; there is no option for a bar that says "pc security" by the home screen and on the homescreen it says "buy pc security" instead of having "go to pc security"?
I already uninstalled Webroot on this computer, as you told me to.

Hello alex!

Did you go to your online Account Console and sign in with your email and password and deactivate that laptop in question. Then that should lead you to insert your security code and then it will open op your PC Console. and ithe article explains here

You are the Administrator Alex OK? Let us know if you have any problems accessing you online Account Console.

Thanks,

Hi there Alexmezh :)

Do you have more than one log in for the Console?  If so, try the other log in.  If not... don't worry, this happens.

Basically, you may have not fully get up your own Console profile when you created it, and so you didnt give yourself full permissions.  This is a quick fix :)

Log into the Console

Click your email address at the upper right corner

Select Manage Users from the drop down

On the Users screen, click the Edit icon at the far right side of your Account line

Edit the Access & Permissions.  Give yourself FULL access to EVERYTHING.

Save changes.

You might need to log out of the Console and log back in for the changes to take effect.

As a side note, often when uninstalling from one PC to use the license seat on another PC, you do not need to actually deactivate the first one, as long as you are connected to the internet at the time you uninstall.  The deactivate function is usually needed only when WSA was uninstalled when a device was not on the internet.

I hope this helps, but let us know if you have any questions!
