if more info needed just ask
Webroot works alongside the Windows firewall, check the Windows firewall settings. You may have to add an exception to the firewall to allow uTorrent (although uTorrent works fine for me out of the box).
hi, thanks for reply. windows firewall is not a problem, its configured for all programs needing access to net, its webroots firewall thats the problem, its lacking features from win 7 and not configurable what so ever, has to be disabled to say utorrent can connect to net
this is a pic from a friends win 7 pc showing same screen shot as me with features i lack

Hello,

I have just tested a fresh install of uTorrent and Webroot and it all works OK for me. I have check the windows firewall to make sure it had added an exception which it did and the test file was d/l fine. The firewall in Windows 8 is getting an update in the new version which is going to be released soon.

hi, i have installed and configured correctly, exactly same as you http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/3710/p9vl.jpg but webroot firewall still blocks utorrent and a couple more programs, utorrent the 1 i'm more concerned about, i have uninstalled via revo uninstaller pro, ran regedit, scanned through registry for leftovers, scanned drives for leftovers, clean, re installed lates version utorrent but is still blocked by webroot firewall and does not detect utorrent to give me option block or allow
I would maybe try using another port in the preferences in uTorrent. Try a random port and see if it helps.
