Trying to add a 2nd PC and keeps asking for key code. I only have the one for my original PC, where do I find the codes to add 2 more? Subscription says I can secure up to 3 PC's

? I'm afraid this seems to be standard practice with most software companies, every time I've purchased any software from anyone that is useable on more than one machine I've only got one licence code which is useable on each machine. You are in effect purchasing one licence to use the software on x no of machines and not different licences for each machine.

Once you have logged into your My Webroot , go to the far right where your user name is, click on it, and go
to Manage Keycodes, you will find it in there.

Hi dadzilla15

Welcome to the Community Forums.

If I understand you corrctly you are trying to add a further device to your subscription? And you are saying that you have a subscription for 3 devices.

As you say you have a multi device subscription then the 'keycode' it is asking for during the install of the 2nd PC is the same keycode as you used for the first PC.

You just run the installer and at the start of the process just enter the same keycode and it will then attempt to activate it (you need to be connected to the Internet of course). All being well, you will have the 2nd PC protected as a result.

There is no need to go into the web console to apply the keycode to a 2nd and/or 3rd device unless you have already used up all of your device allocation and need to deregister/deactivate one or more previously activated/protected devices to make way for the protection of another device.

Hope that helsp? If you have any further questions please ask.

Regards, Baldrick

I don't understand why this is not spelled out for those with multiple machines.  A waste of time being on hold for 45 minutes and no help.  Unnecessary frustration and waste of time.  Serioiusly thinking of simply asking for a refund.

Thank you.  At least I know it is the one code.  They really need to have some more introductory information.  FYI:  I never received any responses from Tech Support - 24 hours after the fact - two outstanding questions.  So far I am not impressed with this company.
Thanks again for your response.

It looks like you asked the question on Sunday and got two replys that same day.
