A pop-up entitled "An update for Microsoft Office Starter 2010-English is now available online."
A pop-up entitled "An update for Microsoft Office Starter 2010-English is now available online." It does not look like a real MIcrosoft update and there is no way to get rid of it. System Restore would not let me go back far enough to get rid of it. Anybody got any ideas?

Was the message by any chance:
"An update for Microsoft Office Starter 2010 - English is now available online"
with a prompt to install it.
It appears to be a genuine offer and as I understand it there is a way to disable it. For that please refer to this prior thread on the very same subject.
