On my secure anywhere window on my pc it says "account activation needed", however ive already activated my account. When i follow the link it also says ive already activated my account. I just reset my windows 10 which i'm assuming is part of the issue.

Hello @ and Welcome to the Webroot Community.

I believe a clean reinstall will resolve this, and failing that, if you Submit a Support Ticket they will sort it out.
Could you clarify what you mean by "reset my Windows 10" please? Here's reinstall info, and please get back with any questions.

please do a clean reinstall of WSA and Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example: SA69-AAAA-A783-DE78-XXXX
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish its install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?

Thanks,

I reset my windows 10, ie reset option in recovery for windows 10, believe it fully reinstalls windows leaving most of your personal files ect.

Clean reinstall does not work, i tried that twice before posting, also checked to see if i had accidentally activated under seperated computer, also not the issue.

Support ticket incoming.

Hello there,

By chance is your copy a Best Buy Subscription Services copy?  Look on the back of the box, the lower right corner.  If there is a Best Buy Serial Number, it is a Best Buy Subscription.  IF yours is, you might also need to call Best Buy to verify that the copy was correctly scanned and activated upon purchase.
