I recall reading somewhere that any subscription days outstanding are added to a 365-day renewal. I had 23 days remaining, purchased a new Webroot AV, and actvated it. Instead of 388 days, my subscription is for 365 days..

Was I supposed to do it another way?

Thanks BD and Daniel for the incredibly quick replies.

Now that I know, it stands to reason that's the way it would work.

Hi EdPell,

Welcome to the Webroot Community.

When your renewal is done through Webroot then this is the case. However, you purchased a new subscription (meaning new keycode) not a renewal. Therefore no time was added, just replaced.

Hope this info helps,

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

You should of waited until your old one ran out as BurnDaddy said new Keycode. You can ask Webroot Customer Service and put both keycodes in the Ticket and see if they will add the remaining days on to your new keycode?

HTH,

Daniel 😉
