Adding Unused Keycode to SecureAnywhere Console

Hello,

I searched the FAQs and the community forums before posting this question; sorry if the answer was overlooked.

I have an unused SecureAnywhere Plus keycode that I play to deploy several months from now. If I add this keycode to my existing Webroot console will the key immediately become active or will it remain dormant until a device is associated with it. I do not want the expiration date counting down while the key is unused.

Thanks!

Hi Davey126,

I had the same situation. I added the keycode to my online Account Console. But I found that I did contact Webroot Support to combine my new keycode with the old keycode. This sat domant on my console untill I asked for this to be added to my console. It was not activated until I added to my computers

? told me these keycodes can be added without activating the keycode. The keycode will sit there unused until your actually enter it into the computer!

Hope this helps?

Hi Sherry,

Appreciate the prompt and detailed response. Exactly what I was looking for! Registering (but not immediately activating) purchased keycodes allows for prompt recall when needed and insures I don't misplace unused codes.

Thanks again,
Davey
