 Hi everyone!

I'm wanting to download the latest Adobe Reader (XI), will my Webroot AV allow this download? There's also an optional McAfee Security Scan Plus and although it is saying that it would not modify any existing AV programme or PC settings, would you advise doing so?

Hi LoopyLinda,

It's not necessary or advisable to run this McAfee Security check. You already have Webroot and that's all you need. I wouldn't if I was you.

Well really it's a PUA (Potentially Unwanted Application) https://community.webroot.com/t5/Techie-KB/How-to-Remove-Potentially-Unwanted-Applications/ta-p/40744 so you have to watch always when installing software. I hate PUA's there such a pain. :@
