After Webroot Secure Anywhere found malware, the screen doesn't let me delete it

Webroot Secure Anywhere indicated that am infected, so I ran a scan as it suggested.  It found one file (located in the recycle bin, so probably not too dangerous).  But the screen lacks any way for me to tell it to delete it or otherwise deal with it.  I can click one a lace to toggle whether to remove it.  But there is no way to tell it to go ahead and do it.  If I close that window, I remain in "infected" status.

Also, the scan took only a few minutes, rather than the 45 minutes which was estimated.

Something isn't right here.

I reran it and this time it showed a "continue" button in the lower left and it worked (removed the malware).

Hi whartman

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Glad that you have managed to resolve your issue. I would just counsel that you check in Quarantine ( gear/cog symbol to the right of PC Security > Quarantine tab) and check to see if you have anything stored there as a result.

If you do you can either leave the 'debris' there...that is perfectly safe, or you can remove it by checking the appropriate items and then clicking the 'Remove' button.

However, if the infection was in fact a false positive you can alternatively restore the quarantined items if required...but of course in this circumstance you must be very sure that the 'infection' was indeed as a result of a false positive otherwise you will be re-enabling malware that has been found and removed.

Hope that helps?
