This happened to me too. I have two Yahoo accounts and one ATT email account and Webroot is blocking all of them. I use these to correspond with my students so if this is bogus, it needs to be fixed quickly. If it's not bogus, I need some way to contact everyone. What's going on?

I'd like to know what's going on too because this morning, I can log on to all of my accounts without incident. What happened?

Hello there,

If it is working now, we might not be able to figure out just what happened... it is hard to find a problem that is already gone.  If it does happen again, please do let us know right away or submit a Trouble Ticket to have Webroot Support take a look.

Do either of you have ad-blocking software installed?  It is possible that an ad being served up within a web based inbox would have caused the problem.  I tend to think this is the most likely explanation: there has not been wide-spread reports of the problem, and it affected more than one email service (yahoo and ATT).

Nope. I don't have any ad-blocking software. Sure wish we could figure out what's going on. It doesn't happen often, but sometimes, Webroot blocks even my personal websites that don't have any ads on them and there's no reason for them to be blocked. Makes me wonder if all of the times are legit when Webroot blocks a site I try to open.

Oh, it is usually very legit.  When it comes to email, if there is a link within an email that is known suspicious Webroot will prevent that email from being opened.

If you suspect a false positive, if you are able to determine the specific email that is triggering it, (Either the currently open email or the emal you are attempting to open) you can contact Support to take a look at it to verify things.
