I just updated my Webroot for another year.  Is there something else I should have?

Hi gurr27

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Would you please provide a little bit more infor mation as to you issue'?  I have never heard of shields 'fading'...as far as I am aware they are either on or off...there is no inbetween...so please provide the exact text of the message yo are receiving.

If asking if there is any other security app required to be run with WSA then in my humble opinion the answer is 'No'...WSA does a very thorough job in protecting the user from multiple threats that can characterise today's online environment.  Please see the diagram below for a schematic of the WSA approach:

and also take a look at this KB Article for even more information.

Hope that helps and I have gotten it right as to what you were asking in the second part of your post.  We await an update on the shields 'fading' message, to try to help out there as well.

Regards, Baldrick

If you have provided your credit card data for renewal, but the renewal date has not actually arrived yet, it WILL continue to count down the days and warn you like that.  This is normal becuase Best Buy will not charge your card until the exact renewal due date.

Once the renewal due date arrives, by 7 or 8 AM, your software should return back to the normal green status with no warnings.  If it does not, either let us know here or call 1800-GEEK-SQUAD for assitance.
