My PC came up this morning with a message called Blue Screen Error 0x000000CE.
BSOD Error 333 registry failure
The screen is locked and I cannot delete it.
I am able to go to other programs.
Can anyone help?
I am disappointed that Webroot did not catch this.
I ran Webroot to see if it would clear it.
It said their was no problem.

BSOD: Error 333 Registry Failure is a malicious website which is used by cyber criminals to promote their remote support services. The BSOD: Error 333 Registry Failure bogus pop-up ad will state that you computer is infected and that you need to call their paid support service to remove the infection. This is a bogus claim, and an attempt to make you pay $199 for their “services”.
f you are seeing random a “BSOD: Error 333 Registry Failure” pop-up and asking you to call a phone number (1-844-552-7825) to fix your PC, then your computer is infected with an adware or a potentially unwanted program.
Please submit a Support Ticket and they will take care of this for you free of charge with a webroot subscription.
