McAfee blocks browser stating pc is infected, deleted from settings but is still there. What to do?

If you have tried to remove McAfee by means fair, i.e., the regular uninstaller, then you can try using the Consumer Products Removal Tool, from McAfee, that you can find here.

McAfee can be rather difficult to uninstall, and it must be done correctly or bad things can happen. Please see this link for instructions and the download for the McAfee Removal Tool.
