Apologies for not being responded to sooner...it looks like your post 'fell through the cracks'.
I am not aware of ever having heard of WSA 'scrambling' URLs per se. Would you be able to advise what site you were trying to reach and what URL you end up being directed to? May be we can figure out what is happening from that information.
