can you shutdown your computer while it is scanning
can i shut down my computer while it is scanning and how will i know if the scanning has stopped

The Default Deep Scan only takes 2 to 4 minutes for most so can't you wait till it's done? If you shut down your system then it will stop scanning as well. Mine does it in about 22 seconds. http://www.webroot.com/En_US/SecureAnywhere/PC/WSA_PC_Help.htm#C2_Scanning/CH2a_RunningScan.htm
