I I have tried EVERYTHING to uninstall Webroot from my devices. I had to do a factory restore on my phone and tablet to get this stupid software fully removed. I shouldnt have to do that.
I cannot fully uninstall Webroot from my laptop.
I did the Programs>add/remove programs, which gives the "appearance" that WR has been removed. It has not be removed in actuality. WR runs all the time and keeps blocking me when trying to update to Windows10, no matter how many times I allow the install. It always fails due to WR.
I also tried using the webroot upgrade tool to completely remove all WR pieces. which seemed to work, but alas, it is still running in the background and making my life difficult.
It's a terrible product. I want it off my laptop NOW!!

i installed in in 2014. i tried to uninstall it in 2015. Still cant get rid of this **bleep** software!

Hi kc9

Welcome to the Community Forums.

WSA is actually a rather good product and better than most on the market. But if you have a stubborn installation that you want rid of please review the contents of this KB Article that should help.

And if that does not help then please Open a Support Ticket to get the Support Team to assist you in that.

Regards, Baldrick

Just to add this Tool will do nothing for WSA, it's only for 2011 and older products to remove!
