I have had webroot for 2 years now and have had no issues with my pc, but all of a sudden my pc is very slow and keeps freezing.  When it freezes I can only correct by shutting down the tower.  When i scan for threats it says no threats found.  I have shut down most of the programs that start up automatically and defraged the computer.  I am at a loss of why this is occuring all of a sudden.

Hello sankey52,

Welcome to the Community Forum,

Would you mind doing a clean reinstall of Webroot to see if this is the problem of WEbroot?

Please follow the steps closely!

  • Make sure you have a copy of your 20 Character Alphanumeric Keycode! Example:SA69-AANA-A783-DE78-C584
  • KEEP the computer online for Uninstall and Reinstall to make sure it works correctly
  • Download a Copy Here (Best Buy Subscription PC users click HERE)
  • Uninstall WSA and Reboot
  • Install with the new installer, enter your Keycode and don't import any settings if asked to as you can set it up as you like once it's done
  • Let it finish it's install scan
  • Reboot once again
Please let us know if that resolves your issue?

Thanks,
