Current subscription ending question

My current subscription is ending in a week or two. I purchased a new 1 year plan, and added the keycode under my user portal. My app installed on my laptop says it is still set to auto-renew. Is this going to end up charging me twice? Or is the new subscription going to take over once the current one expires?
