Daughter needed Shockwave (Adobe Product)  for Educational Softwar, but there seems no way to get it without also installing a Norton scanner (which is forced on you) and other files they don't tell you about..

Anyone know a way around Shockwave without installing trouble also.

THIS IS WEBROOT FOR HOME, BUT THAT OPTION DOESN'T FUNTION!

Hello there, welcome to the Community!

When trying to install any software, look VERY carefully at every single element, as often they will try to add in additional stuff.  There is always a way to opt out of it, though it might be hidden.

In this case, when you are running the Adobe installer, the Norton pop up appears.  Look very closely at it, you CAN uncheck it.  See my image below to show the checkbox.

Just uncheck that and Norton will not install. I hope this helps!
