Deleting of Quarantine files...I am a chronic right clicker, so out of habit

That is a good question, and I have to admit that I am not clear if there is a difference. My suggestion to you is that going forward you use the following approach (as per the online help text):
 
"You can leave the item in quarantine, or you can delete or restore it:

• To delete the item permanently, highlight the item and click the Delete Permanently button. Be aware that after erasing it, you can never restore the item.
• To move the item back to its original location, highlight the item and click the Restore button. When an item is restored, SecureAnywhere will no longer detect it during scans. If you want the item to be detected again in the future, you can change its detection rules."

That way you will have no issues...and to whether you have inadvertently allow threats back onto your system...I doubt it as I am sure you would have notice things untoward, as a result, but what you can do is to go to the 'Shields' tab under 'Advanced Settings' and uncheck the 'Automatically quarantine previously blocked files' and then run a manual scan...that should redetect anything previously blocked and hopefully you should be able to check on anything found. Just remember to recheck the setting/option once finished.
