Adobe updates won't download/run and they say I have to temporarily disable my AV. Is there a quick & dirty way to do that?

It worked -- updates going through on both W7 & XP.   I know we should keep Adobe updated for security, even if we avoid using it (my solution), but I was not comfortable with the advice to disable Webroot temporarily, esp on the XP.  Thanks so much, Sherry!

Hello Sandycat,

Please do not disable Webroot. Download Adobe from here https://get.adobe.com/reader/

If you download Adobe from the direct Adobe website you will not have any problems and you won't need to disable Webroot.

Make sure you uncheck any add ons

Hope this helps and if not please get back to us.

Kind Regards
