We have a few new clients using Adobe CS and were advised to disable ID Shield in our policy to enable this to work.

The problem is it now shows Webroot in a “Protection Disabled” state and prompts the user to enable ID Shield, which they cannot do because policies are centrally managed.

I found a 5 year old thread on this with some promises by Webroot to address, but seems to me the issue is the same as it was in 2017.

Is there any update on this?

Thanks!

For now, there’s no other solution but to hide the GUI.

We are in the same boat. We have to hide the gui so the end user doesn’t see anything!

Thanks, Russell.

Was hoping to hear other news on this front, but I guess the solution is easy enough to implement. Weird solution, but seems to work.

I guess there’s a really looooong timeline on that “In Progress” status. 😄

Be interested to see if there is another solution as we prefer not to hide the GUI.

Thanks John. Atleast I’m doing it right. Shame it’s the only way though
