Does anybody know how to get rid of the little generic box that says "SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD COMPLETE" ?
It shows up in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

You might want to google what is "Software Download Complete Popup" and you will find a Microsoft Community help site asking the same question. I'm not sure this is what you are looking for but give it a read and hopefully this helps.
