Hello
I bought a package Webroot deal for 3 computers that said it was for Malware and had Antivirus; however, on my laptops when it scans it only scans for Malware so it sais and on my Lenovo tablet powered by Android it only scans for viruses so it sais can anyone offer any input on this need to know if I am actually receiving the antivirus and or the malware protection I paid for?
Does my Webroot only scan for Malware and addware or does it have antivirus as well?

Just to clarify a bit for you but 'malware' is a generic terms that is not specific to one particular type of nasty. To quote from Wikipedia:
"Malware, short for malicious software, is any software used to disrupt computer operation, gather sensitive information, or gain access to private computer systems.[1] Malware is defined by its malicious intent, acting against the requirements of the computer user, and does not include software that causes unintentional harm due to some deficiency. The term badware is sometimes used, and applied to both true (malicious) malware and unintentionally harmful software."
That means that the rem malware encompasses viruses and so in terms of the PC (and MAc for that matter) version you are well covered.
In terms of the Android version of WSA the Webroot website does actually state:
So in my book yo are receiving the protection that you have paid for...and in fact more than you probably realise. Please review the two daigrams below; one re. WSA for PC/Macs and one for the WSA Mobile version:

- Warns you about infected websites before you visit them
- Social network protection including Facebook and Twitter
- Automatically scans apps for malware and viruses
