No it doesn't because in reality cookies are harmless and if you have issues within a browser just delete them from there.

TripleHelix, can you tell me if WEBROOT is all I need to stay safe online....should I get any other protection to stay as safe as I can, I do have 6 kids and several are TEENS! All the best

Yes you are perfectly safe with WSA installed see these 2 video's as to why I say so and recommend:
