does webroot work on bots
just got an email from time warner saying they are infected with web bots and i am on the list. does web root work on web bots?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
I would do two things straight off; contact Time Warner to verify the veracity of the communication supposedly from them & then run a scan using WSA to see what if anything it turns up.
If that is clean but you are still concerned you can Open a Support Ticket to let the Support Team know and get them to check your system out. The service is free to all WSA users with an active subscription.

Just out of curiosity, did that email about the bots also contain a phone number for you to call to help remove the bot from your computer? If it did, it is most certainly a spam email.
