Hello,

Does WSA have Webroot product tamper protection.

Happen to notice that user may disable Webroot Service -- WRSVC.
KInda thought that if I can Disable WRSVC then malware can disable Webroot service.

I clean/reinstalled WSA to check if my install was okay and I can disable Webroot service.
Is this normal and does WSA have Webroot product tamper protection.

Thanks

No worries, bjm_...glad that is cleared up. Always good to have these points raised if only for clarity & educational purposes.

Hi bjm_

Well, I tried to do just that and every time I try my attempt is refused or I am prompted to enter the CAPTCHA characters, etc. So not sure how you are doing it but based on my experience I would have to say that WSA has tamper protection.

Please don't explain publically how you achieved what you are saying you did but you can PM me with that and then I can try again.

Yes, upon closer scrutiny.

I now realize that what I thought occurred did not in fact occur.
So, something is protecting WRSVC.

Sorry, for bothering you.
PM sent.
