I don't seem to be able to download anything or should I say it get deleted as soon as it is downloaded

I think the download-assist.com site is what is causing the problem.  They look like one of those shady sites that takes free downloads and bundles in adware or malware.  Try this link instead for LibreOffice:

Are you talking about downloading Webroot, or just downloading anything in general?

I hit the down load button, the box at the bottom of the screen ask me if I want to run or save it... it does no matter which one I choose, the next message is that the file has been moved or deleted.  this time i got a threat warning from Webroot... Pua.Gen and then it looked lilke it was showing the address for the down load... i recognized that Libre-office was in it.

Try to download these for a test! I will check the other 2 as it seams they have PUA's in them: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Techie-KB/How-to-Remove-Potentially-Unwanted-Applications/ta-p/40744

Download Adobe Flash Player 16.0.0.305 (for Internet Explorer) 32/64-bit
