emails with pictures are instead showing a box with a red X inside

Since installing Webroot, I have noted that many emails that would incorporate images or photos as part of the email, are no longer showing an image. These include ads from our grocery store and daily emails from known sporting info sites. 
 
Instead, there is an error message "the linked image cannot be displayed. The file may have been moved, renamed or deleted. Verify that the file points to the correct location".
 
How do I correct this?
