Will Webroot SecureAnywhere Anti-virus play well with Emsisoft Internet Security?
I've been running Emisoft's OnlineArmor (Firewall) with Webroot for many years without any significant issues. Now, Emisoft is dropping OA and replacing it with Emsisoft Internet Security which includes an anti-virus. (I don't want their anti-virus but I do want a firewall such as OA.
Webroot, when first released, stated it would work with other anti-virus packages. Of course, forum responses about using other antivirus packages is to uninstall the other.
Along with my surfing habits I "FEEL" safer running Webroot antivirus, OA firewall, and Sandboxie. Not comfortable with webroot + Windows firewall or with Emisoft anti-virus. Of course, I ran without security for all but about 2 years after installing DSL from 1980 through 2007/2008 without issues. Since then I've been running with Webroot (or it's predecessor) and OA. It is no longer safe out there anymore.
OOPS... I forgot that I ran ZoneAlarm firewall for a while but changed to OA before ALL my hair was gone. Used ESET NOD 32 for a while; forget why I stopped using it. Oh, and I don't use the free stuff. (Heck, I even donate to used free/share ware.)
