Hello Greg,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

This file is specifically for the Password Manager browser extensions.

1) There is a utility specifically for re-installing or removing the Password Manager browser extensions for IE, Chrome and FireFox.  (One run of the utility will look for all 3 browsers.)  You can download this utility HERE.  Note that the URL is directly from Webroot: this is not a third party utility or download.  This will usually fix your issue.

1. Click on the link above and choose "Save File" and save the "toolbarfix.exe" to your Desktop.
2. Shutdown your browser completely.
3. Double-click on the "toolbarfix.exe" file to run it.
4. When the process is complete, open browser again and if you get a message about a "new add-on" click Yes.
You should now see the Webroot Toolbar being "on" and working in all browsers.

If this doesn't work please let us know and we can do a clean reinstall as well.

2) You can also submit a Trouble Ticket.

Hope this helps,

Best Rgards,
